2007 Festival Season The 2007 music festival season has begun, and we started with a bang. We had a funky good time at the Morgan Hill Mushroom Mardi Gras, where the band slammed out two non-stop hours of its hard-hitting original funk, blues, and classic rock and R&B. The band was truly overwhelmed by the audience response! Next, on Saturday July 14th the band shares the stage with Elvin Bishop and Rod Piazza and the Mighty Flyers at the Barbeque and Blues Festival at the Gold Country Fairgrounds in Auburn California. The Lou DeLuca band takes the stage from 4pm to 5pm. Then, the band travels to the Motherload Fairgrounds in Sonora, CA on Saturday August 11th for the Fire on the Mountain Blues Festival. The Lou DeLuca Band will open up the festivities and share the stage with the likes of Little Feat, Pat Travers, Sonny Landreth, Cafe R&B, and more. Come see Lou DeLuca up close and personal on guitar at the Performers Workshop along side Byl Carouthers, Junior Watson, and Shane Dwight. On September 29th the band will perform in San Jose at the Let the Children Play Music Festival. The Lou DeLuca Band has been selected above many a band to play this festival's "emerging talent" stage. This stage is designed to introduce a band like ours to a huge new audience, as it is estimated that there will be ticket sales of close to 10,000. CD release party was a success!
